Heluo (Roel) Hill 賀洛
First chance he saw, Heluo took a dive into Oriental Metaphysics at the age of 14 in 1972 to never look back.
It was at such young age, that circumstances in which he found himself, had led him to a deeply felt Japanese Bushido 武士道, which became the leading factor in everything, while it became art in itself to letting none of this shine through.
Finally, in following up, he initially coached people on an ambulatory and ad hoc basis from 1973-1979.
This enabled him to provide existential training and life coaching, mostly for hard drug addicts and homeless people, as well as for those who - in his estimation wrongly - remained admitted to a clinic, in order to have them return to their independence.
He started Butao Awareness Center for martial arts and existential counseling in 1979, where he provided training in the Korean art of Taekwondo. He had the privilege to be training under the guidance of Guus Augustin, Ben Oude Luttikhuis, Louis Pardoel, Louis Vitalis, Henk Meijer, grandmaster Seo Myung Soo, grandmaster Hee IL Cho and he trained many instructors.
A Taekwondo contestant himself and finalist at the Taekwondo World Championships style forms in Leicester UK in 1988, his students were successful with 12 national and 3 international titles.
His Taekwondo dojo in the city of Haarlem in The Netherlands was soon supplemented with other arts, so as in order to further grant students inner development along the warrior-monk trajectory that he called Zheng Shen Dao 正神道 - Art of True Spirit - each time in mind 'Forward Progressive Movement'.
We were glad to welcome great teachers in the arts of Aikido, Kendo, Jodo, Tai Ji Quan, Wu Shu, Zen, Kundalini Yoga, Course Guidance, Sacred Dance, Japanese calligraphy, Japanese language, Ikebana and classes in Macrobiotic philosophy and cooking.
He was fortunate to take part in a weekend seminar on Japanese Nine Star Ki Astrology (Kyu Sei Kigaku 九星気学) and Japanese Face Diagnosis with the revered Michio Kushi in 1979 – whom had introduced the art to the West mid 1970s.
Then, after having been with Nine Star Ki Astrology for nine years, 9 Ki Divination 九星占い for 9 Stars and Luoshu events forecasting was born in 1988, as out of nowhere those images as shown onto a particular item on the television news were matching what was readily there in annual- and monthly Luoshu. An overwhelmingly stunning moment, he has not been without Luoshu for a day since.
He was admitted as a private student in Flying Star Feng Shui and Four Pillars of Destiny with a Chinese master in The Netherlands, with whom he trained bi-weekly in 1992-1994.
At the time still with his martial arts center, he started teaching 9 Ki Divination, Nine Star Ki Astrology, Four Pillars of Destiny Bazi and Flying Star Feng Shui in 1993.
He then handed over his successful dojo to an assistant in 1997, to be able and fully devote to his current study program Professional Destiny Consultant in 3 topics of study.
Heluo is being appreciated for his willingness to give out a tremendous amount of knowledge in very little time, as well as for his tested down-to-earth and ‘away from hype’ approach.
His studies took him on many trips to learn under the finest masters in Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Nepal, Taiwan, Tibet, United Kingdom. He remains grateful for having been granted his Chinese working name Heluo 賀洛 by his shifu Joseph Yu of FSRC-Canada, to whom he feels indebted for helping to further ground solid and common-sense application, devoid of metaphor or decoys.
Heluo is being appreciated by his colleagues as one of today’s most profound teachers and existential counselors in the field of Oriental Metaphysics.
His deep involvement enables him to offer a bird’s eye view over a broad spectrum of applications, misconceptions and controversies, enabling him to help eliminate weak points and decoys in application and offer lively teaching and sound existential advise.
Besides articles and series since 1999, he has made several television and magazine appearances and published ongoing columns in China Times and Wah Kiu Newspaper on the subject of Nine Star Ki, Four Pillars of Destiny and Feng Shui.

In order to ensure personal autonomy in students and accessibility, we decided to publish articles on our website and Facebook, which in fact mostly are unabridged chapters from out of our workbooks and study materials, for then everyone to see.
Besides we set out to 'make a difference', our school developed its curriculum along a pronounced vision on teaching and several distinct parameters:
- We feel strong to convey each study strictly along our One Gathering and No Delay style, which is to avoid that you had to each time come in for training in ‘modules’ and to ensure that not you had to return to class endlessly, only so as in order to gather the teaching in one single topic of study by bits and pieces.
- Carefully formulated study books, each one to contain what others would separate by several volumes. Extensive explanation, not just rudimentary text.
- Our not-for-profit structure enables us to carry training fees not seen elsewhere and to ensure accessibility.
- Build up of studies, such that you may immediately add the curriculum to your existing practice as an acupuncturist, health care worker, therapist, manager, or otherwise as you work with students and clients as a teacher or life counselor.
